I think he just genuinely wants those particular dvds and even if he pays the shipping and handling and the cost for writable dvds it will still be considerably cheaper than going out and purchasing them in a store. I think he was pretty nice about making that request so if someone wants to take the time out of their day to fulfill the request I don't think there would be an issue with it. I also wouldn't see a problem with charging the guy a couple of bucks for your time.
