| Internet Rappers All Suck You may now commence the flaming, but I'm not an internet rapper. I don't care what you say! Gripp, bitch!
Anyway, though. Now that you've opened my thread, listen to my song. It's called "Weaponry," and it's the first track from my upcoming solo album, As Knowledge Kills Beauty.
And it's good. Really, really good.
You can listen to it for free on any of these sites: Gripp's Music Store - Amie Street, Independent Music Download Website MySpace.com - Gripp - Providence, Rhode Island - Rap / Hip Hop - www.myspace.com/gripp SoundClick artist: Gripp - Twenty-year-old MC & Producer from the 4-0-1.
As I'm posting this, it's still a free download on Amie Street, but it shouldn't stay that way for long. The sooner you get it, the lower the price will be. So... get it now.
Right. Enjoy! And leave plenty of feedback... |

| First of all, that's not even true. Eminem has music on the internet, does that make him an internet rapper?
Second of all, I was being ironic! |

Second of all, I was being ironic! | No, but did Em begin by putting music on the internet?
Nope.
Btw, there's nothing wrong with having music on the internet, it's a good way to exploit your music, so, don't be a dick about it. |

| If you only have your album on the internet, and especially if you use Soundclick
and you've never had a vinyl or been distributed by a real label YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF AN INTERNET RAPPER-
A myspace account and an album coming soon logo does not make you a rapper.

| I know, I know. I was being ironic. It was really just supposed to be more of an attention getter. O_o
There really isn't that much of a difference between an "internet rapper" and any other kind of rapper. The way you distribute your music doesn't have much impact on how good it is. There are a lot of sucky rappers on the internet. Then again, there are a lot of sucky rappers on the streets.
Distribution has nothing to do with being a rapper. If you rap, then you are a rapper. By definition. |
