The old guy is right with people degrading each other. If it's a slang term, why do authorities get in trouble when saying it and not everyone else. It's like what Isiah Thomas said with a white guy not being able to call someone a black bitch, but a black man can.

there's a huge difference between those two words. The n-word was made and used during the times of slavery and white people owned the slaves, for black people it hurts to hear a white person say that like it's no big deal, ESPECIALLY if it's a white teacher telling him to do something. It's hard to truly understand what it's like for a black person to hear that word used by white people, but either way you shouldn't use it.

Using the word 'nigga' in a sense like u were saying 'dude' or 'man' i think is fine but if your white don't tell a black person to do something and end your sentence with nigga, its jus not cool, that makes it just as bad as if he said nigger.
