Renaissance man Andre 3000 is gearing up to release a soundtrack
featuring music from his hit animated series "Class Of 3000."
Andre's Cartoon Network series centers around Benjamin's character,
Sunny Bridges, as he teaches a rag tag bunch of music students at the
fictional Atlanta-based Westley School for the Performing Arts. Each
episode features a new song written and performed by Benjamin and the
rest of the cast as well as an animated music video. The soundtrack,
entitled Class Of 3000 Music: Volume 1, features fourteen songs from
the first season of the show and is executive produced by the ATLien.
In addition to lending his voice to the soundtrack, the OutKast alum also
plays both drums and keyboards on various songs on the disc.
Class Of 3000 Music: Volume 1 is set to hit shelves on July 3 on
LaFace/Sony BMG.
