Hip hop is not dead, it's just hiding. There is still a lot of good hip hop out there, you just need to know where to look and keep your ear to the street. Radio DJ's are not helping by only playing mainstream bull shit and not giving the real rappers a chance.

Westcoast is coming back, Ice Cube, Game, Dre, Bishop Lamont all great rappers with albums coming out in the near future.

hip-hop isnt dead, but the artists who are actually good dont get the attention/sales they need to keep pushin. when the public likes garbage rappers like rick ross and t-pain and jeezy and shawty lo and birdman and 50 cent (i could go on forever) with their unthoughtful, uncreative wack albums that are just full of bangers with wack lyrics, its no wonder why people ask if hip-hop is dead. they take away money from artists that hustle all year and make albums that they put their life into, instead of just goin for money. If you dont want hip-hop to die, buy albums from good artists/groups like Little brother, Binary star, mf doom, black milk, ankh amen ra, ransom, atmosphere, evidence etc etc etc...but without the public changin the trend of liking shitty snap music, shit isnt gonna change.
