 |  'realness' has a hold of these hip hop fans like if a rapper seems 'real' they'll overlook the fact that his music sucks. they're more impressed with who slangs rocks than who is lyrically dope. That's why ppl like canibus never really exploded like they should have. so many rap fans are pathetic.

| You are a bit too preachy... but I agree on the fact that realness, or anything besides the music itself, shouldn't matter. Then again MCs shouldn't lie about their past either, they should rap about their own shit. And I'm sorry to say this, but I don't liek Canibus. Dude's got a big vocabulary, but the shit he say doesn't make sense. He just talks about science and philosophies and whatnot without relating them to anything.
