   | Never. The South got some good shit, but most of the talent was from back in the day. No one in the South can touch OutKast, not even close. That's a problem; most all of it sounds generic whereas New York is consistently putting out cuts (maybe not as strong as it used to be) with some gritty beats. I'm from L.A. but the West and South can't really fuck with New York niggas (not just right now, but past to present).

| the south is growing in terms of radio play since the last few years have been filled with dance shit and all that stuff that sells ringtones, it will probably get as big as NY was on its prime...or the west back in the 90's...it's sad cuz we only have the Game that's getting some radio play...
