 █ So the rip EON released a few hours ago is stolen from forums (it's been
 █ floating around for a few days):

 █ You know, it's just fustrating to know that you lost to some group who didn't
 █ even have the real deal by 5 seconds. I would have gotten this earlier, but
 █ my Target was unprepared for this. Now, we will break down the explanation on
 █ how EON's release is stolen.
 █
 █ Looking at stolen_src.jpg, notice how the Music CRC and the byte size of the
 █ our release, EONs release, and an MP3 encoded from the lossless flac found on
 █ the forums matches EXACTLY across the board, down to the single byte. This is
 █ an unprecedented coincidence, considering the fact the most sceners
 █ (including members of EON, explained further below) have no idea how to
 █ calibrate and configure their drive to deliver exact results. Most ironic, is
 █ the fact that the ripper of the flac forum rip has configured their drive to
 █ perfect specifications to deliver exact results. The ripper also has the same
 █ exact make drive as I do, an LG, with the exact same offset correction of
 █ +667. I HIGHLY doubt the people at EON even know what offset correction is,
 █ let alone an LG drive with the offset correction set to +667, so having an
 █ identical match is quite impossible. Yet, there is an exact match of all
 █ parameters.

 █ To show how rare of an occurence this is, we included the Music CRC and Byte
 █ size of the Alanis album from DV8 and EON, alanis.jpg (a release for which
 █ they provided proof for.) Notice how, despite the fact that the bitrates and
 █ overall file size for the 11 tracks are near identical, there is no match for
 █ the Music CRC and the filesizes vary slightly between the release.

 █ We even compared our Britney JP Rip rip to the -iTSBRITNEYbi*ch release for
 █ the skeptics, britney.jpg. There is no match.
 █
 █ I personally would not have bother to done this, but the first red flag that
 █ set me off was the fact that EON almost always provides some pic of what they
 █ release. For proof to be missing, which EON normally does, struck me off.
 █ Plus the fact that the rip has been floating around the net for a few days
 █ now.
 █
 █ No Proof=No Trust.

 █ Props to all the REAL groups out there who have their own sources and aren't
 █ cheap people who look around for WEB material to release.

 █ could just walk into any Target, buy it and release "proof." Also, they need
