 | Hello there I just want to start by saying that I am both white, and British, so get all the "wigga limey get your teeth fixed" posts ready if you like. A little about me... well, I am 24, started listening to hip hop when I was about 14. It was introduced to me by a guy I went to school with who was from Canada, and I just fell in love with the music. I am more into what I consider the more mellow hip hop, like Jurassic 5, Gangstarr, Masta Ace, Rakim, some Nas etc. I came to this forum hoping to discover some new talent from across the pond, because let's face it, 99% of the stuff that makes it over to England nowadays is that crunk crap where 90% of the lyrics is them just shouting "hey" or "yeah" or "what" over a recycled beat, and I haven't bought or downloaded a CD for years that made me think "wow..." So, I guess you can thank "Flo Rida" and "Souljah Boy" and "Lil Jon" for my arrival here... Hopefully I am welcomed here, and meet a few people that like the same music as me.
