Chris Rock Returns To Stand-Up, Comedy Tour On The Way Funnyman Chris Rock is gearing up to return to the stage and is set to kick-off a brand new national stand-up comedy tour.
While details are still being revealed, according to The Humor Mill, the accomplished comedian/actor/director is said to currently preparing material for a January start. Rock has also reportedly been seen doing spot dates at various Los Angeles comedy clubs in an effort to formulate and rehearse new material.
Cities and dates for the tour are expected to be announced in the near future.
While not confirmed, Rock's first set may be a part of HBO's Comedy Festival, which will be held at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas from November 14-17.
The comedian, whose real life experiences serve as inspiration for his hit sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris," has released several comedy albums and starred in various one-man HBO comedy specials including 1996's "Bring The Pain," 1999's "Bigger & Blacker" and 2004's "Never Scared." He has won several Grammy awards for his comedy albums and Emmys for his work on TV. |
