| Huge Sharks Attack, Sink Boat Off Florida Coast FT. MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- A lazy day on the Gulf of Mexico turned threatening for a group of people when a school of sharks began attacking their boat.
A 14-foot bull shark led the school of sharks to the Christy Nicole on what appeared to be a search and destroy attack on the watercraft. Soon, water was pouring through bite holes on the bottom and the sides of the boat.
Luckily, another boat showed up just in time.
"And the crew, their eyes just about this big, they come throwing their gear on my boat. They just abandoned ship," the unidentified rescuer said.
No one was hurt, but the Christy Nicole couldn't be saved and ended up sinking to the ocean floor |
