MOS DEF GETS INTO AN ALTERCATION IN HOLLYWOOD!!! - RRT

TMZ.com is reporting that Mos Def got into an altercation last night (Aug. 15) in Hollywood after a photographer took his photo outside of Hyde nightclub.

Reports suggest Mos Def was exiting the club when the photographer snapped the photo. Mos asked the photographer to delete the photo. When he wouldn't, he tried to explain to the photog that he wasn't from around there and that he was "violating" his space. After seemingly giving up, one Mos' friends jumped in and tried to wrestle away the camera. Mos Def proceeded to jump in and try and snatch away the camera as well. That's when Mos Def realized TMZ.com cameras were running and said "I'm not trying to damage nuthin' ... I just want him to erase the photo. I'm not hurting him, I just want him to erase my photo and knock it off."

Mos Def really didn't do anything, I mean he asked the guy nicely to just erase the photo and the guy wouldn't. People gettin' in people's faces with a bright flashing camera and get knocked around deserve it. But a lawsuit might be comin'... TMZ video makin' it look like Mos Def the bad guy. The title of the video on there is "Mos Def-iant - Rapper Knocks Around Photographer" Fuck TMZ

Mos Def has no legal right for that man to delete the photo.
He was out of line. Even if it is annoying... anything in public view is fair game for legal photography.
Physical violence is never an answer.

I know he didn't have any legal right to make him, but why should he show respect to the fat guy when that guy wasn't respecting him? And most of the time physical altercations are the answer, especially when you know you got your entourage with you against one man..unless there's a camera running.

He should respect him because the guy was just doing his job (even if it isnt a well respected one)
Being photographed is part of the job description of a celebrity. Mos Def chooses to stay in the spotlight whether its music or acting. If he doesnt want his picture taken, maybe he shouldnt hang out at Hollywood hot spots.
Physical altercations are especially NOT the answer when you have an entourage backing you up. It's cowardice.

I don't even see what the problem is. I mean Mos was really being a nice guy about it. He told him the situation and the guy didn't want to delete the photo. Mos just moved up a level in my book cause it shows hes a man.
