Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy was arrested this morning (May 24) outside of an Atlanta strip club early this morning.

The arrest stemmed from an incident which took place around 4:00 am outside of Strokers Club, located at 1353 Brockett Road in Atlanta, Officer Michael Payne told AllHipHop.com.

Jeezy, born Jay Jenkins, was arrested shortly thereafter, and charged with disorderly conduct, a local ordinance violation.

Additional information was not immediately available.

"I do know that there was no physical altercation between them," Officer Payne told AllHipHop.com. "This was a verbal confrontation."

Jeezy was later released on a $284 bond, confirmed Mikki Jones, Public Information Officer for the Dekalb County Sherriff's Office.

Young Jeezy and his CTE artists BloodRaw and Slick Pulla, collectively known as the group USDA, celebrated the release of their debut project Cold Summer on Tuesday, May 22.

His second release as a solo artist, 2006's The Inspiration, peaked at the number one position on both Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album, Top Rap Album and Billboard 200 chart, supported by the singles "I Luv It" and "Go Getta."
