Altered Beast

Awaking from heavy sedation I sussed out my location,
A bloodied work station and what looked like a mutation,
Surrounded by fate I attempted to clarify my head,
Suddenly the hate through out my body began to spread,
Infuriated with rage the inner war began as I remember,
Entrapped in that cage surrounded by that violent 'ember',
Constantly abused by this 'fiery piece of mankind',
Mentally bruised homicidal thoughts were confined,
All positivity turned vicious and rationality was absent,
Dreams became ambitious and rose in violent content,
Began to advance plans and turn them into actions,
With weapons I filled my hands and set up distractions,
Grenades were lobbed into the lobby of the office construction,
Souls I robbed as I began a relentless heartbeat reduction,
Hacking at the flesh I began to feel that ember burn again,
With the fresh blood streaming from the body I lay slain,
Memories were recollected and I went into a state of rejection,
Because the body I inspected was infact my own reflection,
